Dr. Kazi Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Medical Officer at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital in Dhaka, will present a case of metastatic breast cancer. The patient is a 39-year-old woman who presented with worsening mid-back pain. Physical examination revealed a palpable 3x3 cm left axillary lymph node. A mammogram was technically difficult to perform, and a bone scan showed numerous lesions with positive uptakes in the thoracic and lumbar spine. A biopsy of the axillary lymph node was performed. Dr. Ahmed will discuss the clinical presentation, diagnostic challenges, and management of this case.
